Assessment for Learning: Formative Techniques

Go beyond grading with assessment strategies that inform instruction and support student growth. This course focuses on formative assessment—the ongoing process of gathering and using evidence of student learning to guide teaching. Educators will explore techniques such as questioning, exit tickets, peer assessment, and learning checks, and learn how to use formative data to adapt instruction and provide timely feedback that drives progress.
